BELT CONVEYORS

Everyone knows about Conveyor Belts. Even conveyor systems that don’t utilise belts are still often referred to as Conveyor Belts.

Belt Conveyors are perfectly suited to many commercial applications, and RMS can  deliver systems for all of them. We work with industry leaders with a reputation for excellent advice, great support and high quality, resulting in equipment with extraordinary reliability and low cost of ownership.

OVERVIEW

Belt conveyors utilise a flat belt running on a flat fabricated steel deck or over rollers. The rollers are used when dealing with heavy products, or when long stretches of conveyor are required. Belt conveyors are smooth and quiet, very stable and allow precise tracking and positive positioning.

Suitable for many types of product, from standard boxes and tote bins to floppy sacks or satchels, bags of powder or flour and raw food products. This is an excellent conveyor type for handling items that may have loose strings or tapes attached that would otherwise get caught.

Belt conveyors provide a smooth, positive solution for situations where you need a change in elevation e.g. inter-floor situations or to receive or deliver products to a mezzanine level.

POWERED BELT CURVE CONVEYORS

The curved belt technology is incredibly versatile and reliable. The curved belt conveyor systems will achieve angles ranging from 30° to 270° using horizontal or spiral curves. These curves make the most of available space, while Spiral curves also have the advantage of rapid elevation in a very small floor space.
